The Modern Crone
My name is Winona Collier. I have been a practicing Witch for over 3 decades and have entered into the Crone (Wise Woman) phase of my journey. Witchcraft, to me, is a lifestyle. It is a way of being and it courses through every cell in my body. I honour the teachings of the Wise Ones.
I am a Drum carrier and deeply grateful to walk my journey with Grandmother drum and to listen to the teachings of the Elders. I am also walking a journey with my new healing flute. It plays the Earth frequency and heals DNA. I am honoured to carry the name of Two Hawks Woman. I am grateful for all I have learned from Guides, Shamans, Elders and Seers. I would like to respectfully acknowledge that I live upon the Traditional Lands of the First Nations People.
I am not here to tell anyone how to practice their Craft. Witchcraft is deeply personal and no one ever has the right to tell you how you practice. Just be very mindful of the energy that you are sending out. I created this page to express through blogs what I have learned along the way. My journey into Spirituality has really enhanced my Witchcraft. I have learned the importance of balance in my life. This process came through the experiences of shadow and light, joy and sadness, lack and abundance and learning to step out of emotion during the hard times. This taught me to feel , but not to be consumed by the emotion of lessons. It was a difficult journey, but so important to bring me to this point in time. We can't appreciate the highs without the lows. That's how we learn and grow. I grow every day. I have challenges and victories and each one brings me to a new level as a Soul being. I am grateful for this path and all it has taught me. I want to reach out to other spiritual practitioners and seekers regardless of age to talk about self empowerment and the journey of discovery taking place throughWitchcraft.
It is an amazing time to be alive. We are witnessing the crumbling of the old world while the global conscious raises in vibration to create the new world. It can feel chaotic and ugly, but we are peeling back layers to create change. Trust in the process.
